Add a Favorite - Unlike any other Internet Desktop ActivatorDesk lets you save your Favorite web site links to an on-board database portal server! When you see a web site that you want to save information so you can return to it at a later date, just click the Add Favorite Button (Heart with Plus Sign)
Clicking on the Add Favorite Button loads the dialog shown above to add a favorite to the database. Then it will display as a link when you click the View Favorites Button.
This feature also retrieves website information available on the website including its URL (web www. address), title, keywords, and even description. (Note: Some web sites do not have these as retrievable information.)
Import Favorites and Bookmarks may also be accomplished by right mouse button click menu on the Links Control Bar.

Select a Folder - Click on the pull-down list box at the top of the dialog to select a folder to place your favorite in. (If you need to create a folder, you may create this first by right mouse clicking the Links Control Bar and using the menu selection 'Create Folder'.)
Edit Fields or Personal Database Information ActivatorDesk will retrieve web site information, if it is available, and place this into the dialog fields. You may further edit this information to store in your database. One may even add notes for later reference to the Description Field. Note that the Caption Field is the link title that wil appear in your Links Control Bar Favorites link tree display.
ActivatorDesk is the only Internet Desktop allowing your use of a true on-board SQL server database system to readily store and retrieve such detailed and informative data on the web sites you have visited.
Guide to Right-Click Menu: (shown at left)
- Import Favorites - Loads Import dialog to import IE Favorites and Netscape Bookmarks.
- Organize Favorites - Temporarily disables favorites linking so they may be organized. Must be enabled (unchecked) for normal Favorites navigation or loading.
- Add Folder to Favorites - Enables adding of a Folder under Favorites base level.
- Add Favorite - Add currently viewed web page to Favorites.
- Edit Favorite - Edit currently selected (highlighted) Favorite in Links tree display.
- Delete Favorite - Delete currently selected Favorite or folder.
