Browse-View Multiple Websites at Once - Browser Tabs enable loading and viewing of many websites at the same time. Simply open new websites or views using browser tabs then click on the tab of the website you wish to view. The current website viewed will display a depressed browser tab.
Opening Viewing Multiple Websites - There are many ways to open a new browser tab or website or website view:
- Open in New Window - A new browser tab or 'window' may be opened by right-clicking with your mouse on a link and then clicking on the menu 'Open in New Window' command.
- Control + N - A new browser tab may be opened to the using the same page by holding down your keyboard Control Button and simultaneously pressing the 'N key to request a 'New Page'.
- AddressBox and Shift Key - Enter a 'www.' website address or URL in the Addressbox. Then hold down the Shift Key on the keyboard and simultaneously press the Enter key on your keyboard. A new website browser tab will open to the URL address specified.
- Shift and Control Button - Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard then with your mouse click the Control Button on the Navigation controls. A new browser tab will be opened with your desktop's InfoGrid portal displayed.
- Shift and Home - Hold down the Shift key and click Home Page button to open a new browser tab with your Home Page.
- Shift and Search - Hold down the Shift key and click Search Page button to open a new browser tab with your Search Page.
- Go Button - Click the Go Button then menu select Page and then New to open a new browser tab.

Open a Web Page Link to a New Browser Tab - To open a web page link into a new browser tab simply hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and Click once on the link with your left mouse button!
Browser Tabs and Silmultaneous MultiSearch - To perform many types of searches on the internet at once using the multisearch feature of ActivatorDesk. Closing Browser Tabs - To close browser tabs simply select the tab you wish to close by clicking on the tab. Then using your right mouse button click on the tab. A menu will appear asking if you wish to close the tab. Click Close on this menu to close this tab.
Special Note About Browser Popups - Normally browser popup windows will pop up in their own ActivatorDesk browser window. You may shut these OFF entirely by setting these popups off in your Administrator settings. If popups are set to OFF then popups will not be allowed at all. If you click upon a link and it does not open it may be a link made as a popup window. If this is encountered simply hold down the Shift key on you keyboard and click upon the link. This will open the web page requested into a new Browser Tab instead of a popup. To view more about this click more
