ActivatorDesk(tm) Support System

ActivatorDesk Buttons - These are the ActivatorDesk desktop primary program control buttons that always appear at the bottom of the main program interface:

Go Button The purpose of the Go Button is to consolidate all main ActivatorDesk menus in one simple location. This ultimately preserves valuable computer monitor or screen space for more valuable things like internet browsing. It also simplifies and speeds access to all main program functions. (see sample and menus guide below)

Programs Button - Displays the Programs Control Bar. This is used to immediately target or access the fast launching of programs. (Much faster than the Windows desktop Start button.) For more information on the Programs Bar click more

Show-Hide Control Bar - This button displays the Control Bar if clicked once. If the Control Bar is visable, then clicking this button once hides the Control Bar. For more information on the Control Bar click more

AutoBrowse Button - (not yet activated in beta release) - This button enables viewing of the AutoBrowse Control Bar and automatic browsing of web sites on the internet.

Date-Clock - This displays the current system date and time. Note: The clock may be switched from 12 hour to 24 hour using skin settings. For more information on the Custom Skins click more

Go Button Menus Guide :

Page Menu - This is a menu of primary internet browser functions. Here are this menu's functions:

New - opens a new browser tab to browse multiple web sites
Save As - saves a web page to disk
Open - open a local disk web page
Page Setup - sets up parameters and margins for printing web pages
Print - print a web page or frame currently viewed in the internet browser
Send Link To - Send currently displayed URL or web address via email message with default email reader
Find - Search for text in the currently displayed web page
Select All - select all (highlight all) text in currently viewed web page
View Source - view HTML source in currently viewed web page
Properties - View current web page properties

Navigate Menu - This is a menu of primary internet browser navigation functions:

Control - Navigates to on-board desktop InfoGrid portal
Top - Navigate to top of page
Bottom - Navigate to bottom of page
Back - go to previously viewed web page
Forward - go to web page viewed after using Back
Stop - Stop downloading web page requested
Refresh - Refresh (reload) currently viewed web page
Favorites - View Favorites as InfoGrid portal Web Page
Home - view personal Home Page
Search - View personal Search Page
Add to Favorites - Add currently viewed pager to Favorites database

Help Menu - This is a menu loads this help system or links to the product registration system.

View|Control Bar Menu - This is a menu controlling the desktop and what or how it is viewed:

Hide/Show - Hide or Show the Control Bar
Left/Right - Show Control Bar on left or right sides of the interface
Links - Show Links Control Bar Tab
Programs - Show Programs Launch Control Bar Tab
Cache - Show Cache Control Bar Tab (cookies, history, and links)
AutoBrowse - Show AutoBrowse Control Bar
Options - Show Options Control Bar

View|Browser Menu - This is a menu controlling the desktop and what or how it is viewed:

Hide/Show - Hide or Show the Browser Window
Text Size - Change Browser Window text size

Customize|Themes Menu - This is a menu controlling standard Windows themes installed into ActivatorDesk. Themes may be selected, modified, or the current theme saved using the Save As selection. As themes are installed in ActivatorDesk their names are presented in the menu. To switch to a particular theme simply select it in the menu. more

Customize|Skins Menu - This is a menu controlling which graphical skin is displayed for the ActivatorDesk Interface. As skins are installed, their names are presented in the menu. To switch to a particular skin simply select it in the menu. more

Customize|Schemes Menu - This is a menu controlling which standard Windows schemes installed into ActivatorDesk. As schemes are installed, their names are presented in the menu. To switch to a particular scheme simply select it in the menu. more

Administrator - loads the ActivatorDesk Administrator. This utility is used to dynamically update your desktop portal with new links, web-pages, and keywords for safe-internet filtering. more

Connect - loads the internet modem connection dialer. (not yet implemented)
